For the next two weeks, I will be on my summer holiday, and I must admit, this year, even more than before, I am so looking forward to our holiday...
I want to soak into a slow pace of life and re-learn to do nothing. All year long, we seem to be running against time, there is always something to do, somewhere to go, and finally our holidays start and on this occasion only ‘Nothingness’ hawks over ourselves.
Some find it daunting, but DEFINETELY not to me, and this year, I decided to make relaxation a priority, why, simply because it is incredible how much damage stress can do to our health.
It is easy to keep going at a crazy pace when on holiday, filling up the days with lots of activities, forgetting to relax.
This is why, re-learning to relax is so important. This will take your worries away, which, before you realize, will start disappearing away, overshadowed by a wave of ‘cheerfulness’.
This way, you will approach the end of the year with a more positive outlook on life. You mood will be up-lifted and you will look forward to conquer the rest of the year.
Relaxation is super beneficial for our well-being. It is about time to chill out and enjoy ourselves; we should make this a yearly habit.
This is an eye opener to me; I want to learn again how to relax and continue to do so way after my holiday.
Here are a few tips to help you relax, unwind and embrace totally the art of ‘doing nothing’:
Even if you are not on holiday, I hope this little note will give you the will to take time for yourself and stop for a minute to listen to the wind.
Chit-chat room, what is it all about?
I have created this page so we can have regular chit-chats about those little things that will bring positivity into our daily life. Sometime just a little funny post, a fun video, a song or a quote, will bring sunshine into our day, will bring a smile onto our face, or will simply make us feel good. Hope you enjoy reading these posts.
